Larry Richardson

With 25 years' experience in the reinsurance industry, Larry joined AlimcoRe as Chief Operating Officer in September 2024. Before AlimcoRe, he served as Watford Re’s COO, aiding in the launch of Watford Re for Arch Capital Group. He also held the title of SVP in the Ventures Group at RenaissanceRe, which develops and structures non-traditional reinsurance products, makes strategic investments and creates and manages RenaissanceRe's joint ventures. Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, Mr. Richardson was an investment banker with over 15 years of experience in the structured products and securitization arena, having been employed at a number of nationally recognized Wall Street firms.



Larry graduated from the University of Virginia with both a B.S. degree from the McIntire School of Commerce and a J.D. degree from the School of Law.
